Zebiak was hired to install 6 helical piles for a deep foundation of a tiered retaining wall that supports a driveway on a steep slope. Due to the cobble prone subgrade a Chance SS to RS transition pile was selected. Piles went to approximately 15’ in depth for a capacity of 40 Kips.
